4 real??? Are you paying for it as well?
totally. And yep even paying for it, my housemate is a huge fan so we'll split it.

Agree with Wub predicitions pretty much, called the shaun michaels interference thing last week and didn't know he's the guest ref so pretty much confirms it. Not sure there's much point of a HHH michaels feud tho.

I was just commenting.
Sorry, wasn't supposed to be quite so snappy... 20 years of sticking up for Wrestling against the same comments take their toll. Sometimes I feel like Chris Rock getting tired of defending rap music.

It's just an exhibition sport... I didn't "take it serious" when I was 7, let alone nearly 30... but I've always found it entertaining on a pretty base level much like I find pop music, Doctor Who or comic books entertaining. I think we all get a bit of a kick out of watching people fight every now and again... whether they're doing it for real, in a Hollywood movie or in a wrestling ring... exhibition fighting has been used for entertainment since Greek times.

The Rock vs. John Cena (Singles match) - Cena, clean finish.

Triple H vs. The Undertaker (Hell in a Cell match with special guest referee Shawn Michaels) - Taker, Michaels *fails* to interfere after a big bump, Trips shoulders counted by a "normal" ref.

CM Punk (c) vs. Chris Jericho (Singles match for the WWE Championship) - Jericho, dirty finish, wins title.

Daniel Bryan (c) vs. Sheamus (Singles match for the World Heavyweight Championship) - Sheamus, clean finish.

Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Big Show (Singles match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship) - Cody wins. Show's the anti-Taker at Wrestlemania.

Randy Orton vs. Kane (Singles match) - Orton, clean finish.

Team Teddy (Santino Marella (captain), R-Truth, Kofi Kingston, Zack Ryder, The Great Khali and Booker T) (with Hornswoggle) vs. Team Johnny (David Otunga (captain), Mark Henry, Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger, The Miz and Drew McIntyre) (with Vickie Guerrero) (12-man tag team match. The General Manager of the winning team will become the General Manager of both Raw and SmackDown) - Team Johnny win with just Mark Henry left... he destroys 3 or 4 of the opposing team before pinning Santino for the win.

Maria Menounos & Kelly Kelly vs. Beth Phoenix & Eve Torres (Divas Tag Match) - Phoenix & Torres, clean finish.

I was going to take the day off but I was ashamed of what my parents would think of me taking the day off to stay up and watch wrestling. I'm a poor excuse for a human.

Rock vs Cena- Cena (Clean)
Triple H Vs Undertaker- Undertaker (Michaels will superkick both participants at some point but otherwise call it close to the middle)
CM Punk vs Chris Jericho- CM Punk (Clean)
Daniel Bryan vs Sheamus- Sheamus wins on the night, dusty finish. The night after on raw John laurinaitis says that as he's the new gm of both smackdown and raw he has to call things right and in the match D-Bry did something to be disqualified, thus meaning he is still the WORLD.HEAVYWEIGHT.CHAMPION.
Cody Rhodes vs Big Show- Big Show (Clean) (Unfortunately)

Divas Match- SWERVE IT'S A BRODUS CLAY SQUASH MATCH

Stayed up to watch, was pretty shit by all accounts, I swear when I watched it as a kid wrestlemania was all different types of crazy, we got nothing more than a couple of steel chairs and a sledge hammer this time round. All good though as I won £60 on the Rock.

Also, I was reminded of this:

Well, I stayed up too late watching this last night... might as well have just stayed up and watched it live on Sunday night!

I thought it was surprisingly good... I think I had pretty low expectations from the fueds, but there were a few really enjoyable matches.

Sheamus defeated Daniel Bryan (c) (with AJ)

Well, at least we didn't have to watch Fella for too long. I haven't watched Raw yet, so with any luck he'll drop the strap straight away.

Kane defeated Randy Orton

Meh.

The Big Show defeated Cody Rhodes (c)

Meh. The Big Show's boring, especially when he wins with the WMD.

Kelly Kelly and Maria Menounos defeated Beth Phoenix and Eve

Skipped most of it... there's no way Phoenix is getting rolled up like that. Rubbish.

The Undertaker defeated Triple H

Brilliant. I was marked to fuck for this match... yeah, it retrod a lot of ground from last year's match, but the Undertaker's sprint finish was superb and when the SCM/Pedigree hit, I really thought it might be over despite knowing it couldn't be. If that was Taker's last match, then it was a fitting end. It'd be a fitting end for Trips as well, but there was certainly enough HBK involvement to produce a little fued... I'm not convinced they've fully decided themselves.

Team Johnny (David Otunga (captain), Mark Henry, Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger, The Miz, and Drew McIntyre) (with John Laurinaitis, Vickie Guerrero and Brie Bella) defeated Team Teddy (Santino Marella (captain), R-Truth, Kofi Kingston, Zack Ryder, The Great Khali, and Booker T) (with Teddy Long, Hornswoggle, Eve, Nikki Bella and Aksana)

Meh. Stop using Ryder as a fall guy... HE CAN'T ACT. He's like Brutus Beefcake, but completely fucking shit.

CM Punk (c) defeated Chris Jericho

Way better than expected. Best wrestling match on the card by a long way... great clean finish. Maybe I do have time for Jericho afterall.

The Rock defeated John Cena

Ok, I haven't watched this properly. I fell asleep during the intros and saw the end, which was decent.

Finally managed to watch mania. Pleasantly surprised by the results. The End of an Era match was easily the best on the card, if only for the Lil Naitch appearance. Team Johnny vs Team Teddy had the right ending imo, builds two feuds for the price of one then. Rock-Cena was really good, a lot of signature move and finisher spots but that was all people wanted, and the right man won. Had a piss during the divas match. Punk-Jericho was good, especially with the added stipulation forcing punk to curtail his emotions. Show was always going to win, he'll drop the strap at extreme rules and retire at summer slam most probably, to be inducted at the next wrestlemania and whilst he's boring now he deserves one last reign with a belt for recognition of his long service. And as long as something good comes from the fella- D-bry abortion (I'm thinking daniel blames AJ and forces her to leave him to align with sheamus whilst he aligns with the bella he's actually fucking or just turns into a bitter twisted singleton) then I don't mind it, although the amount of daniel bryan and yes chants that continued through the night (and onto Raw but I won't go into that till Magma's seen it) proved he was over as fuck and could've done with a bit more of a run, being the wiley heel untill etxreme rules where he couldn't use sly tactics to escape etc. Was enough fodder to make a decent drinking game too, although drink everytime someone hits a finisher quickly descended into chaos
