Instead of starting a flame war, I will tell you the term 'ambient' is relative to dubstep, Meaning it's ambient compared to, say brostep. That's why this thread is called "Ambient and/or Jazzy _Dubstep_".

Sonika-
Again, without letting this thread get out of control: Music, in general, is all about melody and rhythm. So, the names you used are too vague. In other words, it can used to describe classical, rap, pop or country (to name a few).

'Nuf respect to both of you.

Besides, I think most Dubstep fans know what I mean when I say "It's ambient." This is not a dis on both of you in any way.

Perhaps, everyone who has responded to this thread can come up with a more universal term for 'ambient dubstep'.

Again, I don't want this to become a flame war as I've seen in other threads. I think if we all put our heads together, we can come up with a new name.

Or, are you happy with 'ambient' as it relates to dubstep.

I am open to anything,

Rules
1. No insults.
2. Nothing corporate like 'electronica'. What suit thought of that shit!

I didn't forget about you. I assume because you posted this song you can handle a review. The only thing standing out in this bit is the "X-Files" sound at the beginning. I'm not saying it's good or bad. Maybe you intended that. I'm saying that's what it calls to mind to me.

I would like to hear the whole track to make my complete observation.

Thanks
