Too many homos from Aus and wherever else getting butthurt in here over some bullshit, get over it. Like I said, no big deal, and the UK is shit anyway.
Listen to traditional music from Italy and it's deep rooted in Italian culture, listen to traditional music from China and it's deep-rooted in Chinese culture why's it hard to get that music with a sense of place is deep rooted in it's own culture. Yeah, music is universal and timless, but it's also local and timely as well.. that's what makes it so special

If you guys are questioning the validity of experience in relation to
-the synergistic qualities of music and place
I say - what does it matter if a song played in London
has a different effect than when it is played in New York
or in a pitch black room
Where you are - is unavoidably going to influence
but place - effecting the intrinsic value of a musical experience is highly debatable
