hahah i tried cloudkillers for about a week but honestly it's a waste of time and effort i commented like maybe 35 tracks and was sick of it. I like to grow organically and know exactly how many true fans I really have. I also get posted by tons of blogs so that helps ---->google "PatrickReza Dubstep" and you'll see what im talking about. i will never buy facebook fans, or youtube views or soundcloud plays i want to always know EXACTLY who my fans are. just have a really awesome fanbase ---> facebook.com/patrickrezamusic

Basically, the trick is into the delay, the massive patch is pretty much covered by the sound of the delay (about 70% dry wet in the delay).
I made a patch in massive, I don't think the oscillators I chose matter much, as I'm not an expert for Massive oscillators (I used a Groan IV in bend + that give mid bass to the sound, a melofant in bend - for mid highs and a roughmath III with formant type waveform to add a nice high end, and phase at -12 in the mod osc applying to the groan IV). For the wobbling part I used a daft filter with little resonance controlled by a LFO. Then I used Classic Tube (30%,30%), a Dim Expander (30%,0%), EQ to boost a little the high shelf. I feedbacked the sound a little to add fullness, and a sine shaper with full drive, little drywet.
I think that's all into massive, then I added a delay in ableton, left and right side are linked, feedback around 60%, drywet around 70%, and modulate the time to add movement: in the first sound, it's going from 1ms to 2ms, it' might not be the best one so you have to try severeal to find one modulation that pleases you
Finally, basic high pass going downward at the beginning of the first sound, pitch bend downard too, then I have cut every frequency under 140 Hz, and added a nice sine/square sub to have a clearer sound (it's having the same pitch bend downward at the beginning of the first note, to give it a nice pumping feel).
But that's what I have done, it's just me experiencing, and it's not meant to be a perfect way of how to do the zeds dead synth, I don't feel like I'm mastering everything I used in that sound, so follow it as an example and make it your own with your personal tastes of making a patch !

Its mostly in the delay, turn off Sync and set your L/R delay times to like 5-20ms (offset from each other) and crank your dry/wet and feedback to well over 50%

im not at my workstation so I cant give a wavetable reccomendation but you could probably use just about anything

I've been at it in FM8 for a while so far, can only get the percussiveness and pitch bend right, having trouble getting it that fat.

haha yeah i dont take anything too personally on forums just because i feel that everyone is entitled to their own opinions, and while some are just looking to troll on other people, i'm happy where i stand with my music production and in the end thats all you can ask for. i look at DSF as a literal "forum" to bounce ideas off one another and keep all of us growing and evolving. About the remixes, it's definitely proven to be an effective method. I mean look at pretty much any famous EDM artist. Dare i say his name, but even skrillex started off making remixes. But I'm digging your remixes! Any tips on remixing songs you'd pass over? I've never attempted it really.. Only done some original stuff.. I'd appreciate it ;D'
