my dad used to be a security guard at waterloo station and one day me and my sister were waiting our dad on the platform. There used to be (I dunno if there still is) a lot of homeless people in the station, and it was security's job to move them along and stuff. I don't know how he got there, but there was a homeless man getting chased by security on the platform. Security kind of got him surrounded, and god knows what was going through this guy's head, but he jumped onto the train tracks, got electrocuted. It was just..horrible. I can't remember how old I was, but it was when the Eurostar used to be at Waterloo.

Probably getting woken up about an hour after getting back to a mate's place drunk by a screaming girl who's recently-ex boyfriend was hanging from the beams of the wheelie bin enclosure outside his house... he wasn't dead yet so I was trying to hold his feet up whilst my mate cut the rope. He was pretty dead by the time the ambulance got there.

We both just sat in silence in his living room for hours after staring in to space... literally no idea what to say to each other.

The only real "video nasty" was the Nick Berg execution. It made me cry. The only positive thing to come out of the experience was being relatively confident that I'm not a psychopath.

when i was in LA, (the homeless mans paradise) i was walking the streets and i saw a family of three homeless children sleeping on the mattress in a neighborhood by west hollywood right on the sidewalk..
they were about seven to nine years old, completely filthy..heartbreaking really.

I've seen more snuff films and other fucked up things than I care to go on about (I doubt the reality of most), but probably the worst thing I've ever seen was a person that I really cared about shooting heroin. Like, that fucked me up for a while. I've always naturally befriended older people over my peers, but as a 13 year old, seeing a guy you spent the entire last summer skating and hanging out with all fucked up on H really dug into me.

theres this really sketchy highway pass in some foothills close to where i live; the southern lane has to go over the northern one at some point (for some reason), and i saw a motorcyclist get in an accident in that section. he hit the guardrail, had his arm ripped off by getting it caught underneath the railing as he was being flung over it (and it was about a 20-30 foot drop afterwards).

i have no idea if he died or not, but seeing someones arm get ripped off

flipped over at a high speed and his body was tossed/dragged maybe 100 ft across pavement, bike on fire, we roll past and see man dead with his legs/torso bent up above his head in the most twisted way, skin torn off, red skid marks across the bridge
