Because you can get thousands of people follow you. If i have thousands of people follow me (which i know i don't but it's been like 3 days) then when i finally put our clothes brand up for sale the name will already have a following, same with twitter, you just post meaningless bullshit to get followers.
Most of the people on this forum hate anything remotely 'hipster', but there are thousands of people who do like it. They're the ones i'm aiming my shit at
& as i've said before, it's all a bit tongue in cheek.
