^ COP-OUT.
I'm a grown-ass man with a heavy IT job, a wife, and two kids... if I can do it, you should have no problem setting aside a little time between drinking and study binges to make a tune!

Hey alphacat, that's just like me!
My two cents on the issues raised earlier. On too many entries: I don't think there will be that many (there was only 4 last time). For me, it's not a problem to listen to all of them, even if there's 32.
On voting (apologies if this has been brought up before): To me this would be more important. Having to choose a single tune is too restricting. If there's around 10-11 tunes, maybe I'll like 2 or 3 of them very much. Being forced to narrow that down to a single entry is less than ideal. In my opinion, voters should be allowed to score each tune on a scale of 1-10. (This might lead to some other issues, e.g. voters not agreeing what a 10 should mean, etc.) It's still a better way in my opinion, in DSF34 there were two entries that didn't receive a single vote. Those would at least get a score.

plus4 - we're not trying to stroke each other's egos here.
No point in giving votes to tunes that you don't like.
We don't want to give ppl a false sense of value.
There can be only one.

It could mean that they weren't very good, or at least not as good as the other tunes. As EH has said, we're not into this for ego-stroking. If stuff doesn't get a single vote, there's a reason for that (and also an author who doesn't automatically vote for their own tracks, respectPlus4 wrote:in DSF34 there were two entries that didn't receive a single vote.
