PLATFORM 1 WHERE THA F*** WERE YA????
im just asking! know that fwd used to be on thursdays, wasnt at velvet rooms, but was at those sessions regardless of the early start next day, i just think that you will always be guaranteed more faces on a weekend, its risky running a weekday night.. people more likely to flake off maybe, dont want to argue about it either!

I think some promoters should start considering bein more experimental with there lineups (just a suggestion yea). Its obvious that if u put the major peeps on there people will come, so why not mix it up. I still rekon if you put on a night and have say: dmz, quiet storm, youngsta, U.C, the others, scuba and so on all tunes will stand out as will all sets. Everything will be heard in context and make much more sense to people. And you can gun me for gettin this late if you want, but it wasn't till i heard dmz play after search and destroy at Thriller Funk that i understood where they were commin from.
We need balance peeps and alot more support from the people that care about the music rather then the people who couldnt give 2 and view it as a fashion ting. Dubstep was never fashionable in the first place
.
Come on soldiers lets do this properly, tis one of the few scenes where its all close knit so its not out of the relms of possibilty to come together fully as a unit and do right by ourselves and the music.

Yeah I thought the turnout could have been a bit better, but it still wasn't THAT bad. I do think the smoking ban has a lot to answer for though...even at Dubraizer which was near to capacity, room 2 was pretty much empty all night.
Anyway, I think I enjoy Platform 1 more than FWD or something because you get such a wide selection of DJs that you probably haven't had the chance to see that often. Also the vibe there is much more of the fabled 'family' affair. You can really catch up with people and chill out/shock out to amazing music.
Big up Letty, Tom and the Clandestine crew!
