its up there with deadmouse and brostep as far as music goes. its not even pop music as they like to say - pop music isnt a blanket term you can use to make up for a lack of ideas
grace jones was pop music, this is brostep.

sub bass will peel back
fluttering blips abound
NME will call it Blipgloss
Pitchfork will review it as the "smooth cognac aftertaste to EDM's Redstripe hangover"
and it will be fucking awful

Not gonna lie, lot of Disclosure's songs sound kinda the same, but allow parrin them like that; Running and White Noise were bangers (mainly because of AlunaGeorge tho).
And tbh, I know a lot of people that confuse their house with that "future garage" bollocks.

If i was being offered that kind of cash, Id at least make sure I plugged my decks and mixer in, and maybe a few cables, so i didnt look a complete tool when on stage at a certain gig recently...

Nah man, you don't get it, they left everything unplugged deliberately so everyone could see it was the organisers rather than them who were tools.

Eurythmics/Annie Lennox, David Bowie, New Order, The Cure, Tears 4 Fears, Sting/Police etc etc I would love to see a revival of this kind of music with a modern twist - get me the right singer I would write that kind of music all day long that's real pop music not the stupid crap u hear on radio 1 all day long. Nothing wrong with Disclosure imo though, I like some of their tunes (not white noise) and production is top notch, it does sound like 90's house music but kids these days probably missed out on that

I can't wait for someone to pull the same shit with the old school deep dubstep sound but more polished, only to enjoy a short 30 days of grace on this forum followed by an eternity of hatred.
