Re: Favorite non-dubstep producer
not that I listen to much non-dubstep but
currently Pole's progressive house/glitch
& over time, John Tejada's tech-house
Jonny Dollar, Tricky & the Massive Attack crew's trip hop efforts
Adrian Sherwood's, sometimes with Scratch Perry, dub
imo DJRum's first releases were distinctively good & Seven Lies is mostly great

Source Direct, Madlib, Ed Rush, DJ Shadow, Future Sound of London, whatever combination of people did the beats for Massive Attack's Protection album.

Bonobo for his consistent brilliance,
Rob Smith for his frankly amazing contributions to the underground, even when enormously underappreciated,
Quincy Jones for that funk and swing.
But nothing comes close to Rhythm&Sound, who I think are the greatest musicians of all time. Some of the deepest sounds of the universe are contained in this mix;

Definitely. Must be open-minded about Pole too.

Well out of those 3 I've only heard Basic Channel, which I thought was pretty good but a bit too avant-garde for me. Using one tune (don't want to hijack this thread toooo much) I challenge you to convince me otherwise. Then you may join the R&S Loveshack Experienceskwiggo wrote:^can I join? as long as you include maurizio/mainstreet/basic channel tunes as well

Re: Favorite non-dubstep producer
I haven´t count augustus pablo as my favorite producer because he considered himself a musician more than a dub creator
