I think thats the line i used on Spherix to win his heart! I've never once complained about him wanting studio time, if anything i push him. Love being in the studio hearing it all come together. I'm nothing but 100% supportive, go to every gig, and am completely honest about his tracks if i like em or hate em. He's lucky that i love music as much as him! I would never ever want to get in the way of his passion, i know that he has limited time working full time and still producing and fitting me in too! But balance can be achieved with the right lady!

big up spherix and missus on keeping a happy medium..

my girl doesn't mind sitting in while i make tracks, but it doesn't take long till she starts battling the DAW for my attention, so its kinda a catch 22...

The reason i'm so cool about it i guess is because i've always lived with djs and producers (well in the last ten years). Been into drum and bass since 97/98 and have always just loved music. You boys need a gal thats passionate about choonage! Sometimes it can be frustrating hearing a loop over and over and over but at the same time its exciting! i get to hear a completed choon before the public, which is a honour. Easier to have a partner that has their own passions and realises that inspiration comes suddenly and not always frequently. gotta respect an artist and their love/hate for what they do... I have my own passions that dont always include my partner and i want them to realise when i'm in the zone thats all i can think about.

BRAP!

Man what an interesting thread....so many ridiculous quotes, I can't quote/respond to them all...but I hope most of you dudes stick to music, cause i don't think you are even ready to handle relationships..LOL

I just wanted to mention that I found this thread hilarious because I have dumped at least two DUDES because they were so clingy and weird about me wanting to be alone to work on music, spin records, or not have them mauling and trying to make out with me while i was DJ-ing in public!

SO yeah, for those of you that think the world is all guys making beats and girls crying about it, get wise!
I think most of you just need to meet cooler gyals, like J-Gal etc.
I know tons of hot girls that DJ, produce, love music, and are super chill.

Although I work full-time, am very into dubstep, DJ-ing, making mixes and beats, I find time to balance spending quality time with my boyfriend, and so does he. I doubt that it would work if we weren't both so into music.
We did meet through dubstep though, on a message board no less!
Dream come true for some of u dubstep nerds! hehe.

end of rant!

^ yeah as mentioned earlier in the thread - any ladies reading - I simply titled the thread incorrectly - we all know that there are plenty of female producers killing it at the moment :)

Just got an email from my girl that i thought was relevant to this thread...

"all u think about wen u r with me is music all u think aboutt wen ur not with music or me is music and all u think bout wen u have music is music so wen exactly do u think bout me?"

still clearly trying to find an equilibrium...
