I'm not really a big Civic fan generally, but it's clean, looks well cared for, subtly personalised showing a bit of pride in his possession... it's a nice ride.Molzie wrote:lol you think a civic is cool. mag wheels and a few mods is hardly boastablemagma wrote:Edit: I've just read the whole thread and snick01 has the only boastable ride so far.

Re: What whip are you rolling in?
Other side of the mountain sounds more like bicycle distance to be honest.
Depends on the mountain though.

Ahh hush molzie, I haven't boasted, just put a picture of my car up and mentioned what has been done to it.
Cool is down to personal preference. I picked a civic because they are reasonably quick for hatchback standards, they really do handle well, plenty of bits around if I fancied changing something, they are quite affordable now and I actually like the looks of them.
Is that OK with you?
Re: What whip are you rolling in?
Yea I rate Civics, standard Jap car, quick and economical.
Re: What whip are you rolling in?
Yep, when I was doing 150 miles a week i needed something relatively economical, but didn't want to sell my soul and get a diesel. Stay off V-Tech and they do alright for a near 200bhp car. better than the 18mpg I was getting in my 5 series...jaydot wrote:Yea I rate Civics, standard Jap car, quick and economical.
Not to mention they are actually quite tuneable for a naturally aspirated engine.
It has become 'The thing' to hate on civics on the internet though
Re: What whip are you rolling in?
Up until the redesign the type r was the best hot hatch around imo. Never been so keen on them since and the spoiler in the middle of the rear window looks ridiculous
