Did anyone do a single genre mix? I have hardcore in my mix for what it's worth.

i guess i correlate my age with my love for dnb, i was raving to it during its golden years. most often, when i talk to a younger group of electronic music fans in general, they tell me similar things like what you guys were mentioning, genres of music that are no faster than 140. if im not mistaken, a lot of people who post on here are pretty young, if i remember. minus nowaysj. he old. lol.

Dnb is still something the kids listen to, but DSF isn't the right forum for that. There's dnb fans on here, but most people will naturally be more attracted to slower stuff.

and gene's right, loads of youngins still rocking dnb.. i just dont meet those heads too often these days. most of the kids i talk electronic music to, listen to the bro, the fist pump, or the trap . might be phoenix though.

In the Netherlands, DNB is bigger than all of those. Only big room is bigger.

Yeah, personally I've been pretty busy with exams. Hoped to have been able to record a mix last weekend but things didn't really pan out.
I can make a mix tonight if it's not too late for this competition, otherwise I'll just join in on the next one.
