When you're walking up an escalator and you start passing some standing tnuc, and right as you hit the same step as them, they decide to start walking on the escalator next to you.

Wish there was an escalator to take those kinda people straight back down to hell tbh.

Got stuck behind about 100 people the other day on a long escalator getting out of the train station; the cause of the 'traffic jam': this large woman standing blocking the whole thing with headphones eating a hot dog...

Also, people that try to get on the train as soon as the doors open without letting the crowd of people out first. Fucks sake, just wait a second to let everyone off, you're not going to miss the train.

Yes, this is really a metaphor for what is wrong with people. Most people energetically work against their best interests.

Not so much the kids tbh just that the parents are sitting like half a bus away chatting to their friends and the kids are just running around going mental like ffs tell your kid to sit down on the already full bus

HA! You would hate the Parisian subway I bet, people do it all the time. Another thing they do a lot over there is standing right in front of the exit door - supposedly because they get off at the next station, but it's not even always the case - preventing you from getting in, even though there's a lot of space behind and they could just back up a little bit.

Actually the general dumbness or lack of education has gone so far that the public transport company now puts stickers on subways and buses to remind people of these basic principles...

last time i was in london the pa system on the metro kept making announcements asking people to please move right down inside the train as though they needed reminding of common sense.

People with kids in push chairs who assume they are automatically the most important person on the planet just because they managed to have a child. Like fair enough you need room and it's probably annoying getting around with those but it doesn't mean you get to ram it into people without asking politely to get through or stop completely in the way of everyone where it's busy.

In belgium (charleroi) there was a man just slapping his dog about because it ate some of his chips. I was too stoned and tired to confront him but i was disgusted. if i was pissed id have ran up and had a go then got a hefty punch to the face.
