9. Severed Heads (oz progressive electronica)

11. Coil (ambient electronica/precursor to triphop)
12. Japan & David Sylvian (synth rock)
13. The The (new wave)
14. Clan of Xymox (Dutch goth/industrial)

hey shum, was gunna include The Chills but then thought of this other NZ band, whose name I can't remember, who were better.

ah, just remembered: Bailter Space
they'd go in @ 9.

tryhards Split Enz weren't as good as the later trans-tasman Crowded House imo
