Well there's not many options-alive or dead and at a stretch a vegetated comatose state. But that's no fun.AxeD wrote:I'm not some hyper pessimistic comedian or something, but I never understood thiscyclopian wrote:Yeah, living is pretty damn rad in general.
remark. It's good compared to what?
I don't mind it myself, but if there's something better out there.. I'd like to keep my
options open.
i feel this hard. im really dreading getting my degree and then having to slip into the yearly 9 to 5 grind. might do a masters/phd for no other reason but to avoid that for a few more years. not that i don't want a job/career, but i really love those periods of time you describe the above. need to find a job where i can just work double hours one week and do fuck all the nextHarkat wrote:I wanna get good enough at making tunes that I can just live like burial lives
just live off music and spend all my time fucking about like a regular off day. I don't really wanna tour or anything that much just want free time all the time. Just partying, playing videogames, hanging with m8s, music, walking about, smokin weed, going to gym and being on dsf. Sort of sad but sounds appealing lol.
Lol, you wish.Phigure wrote:9 to 5

I've got an idea:
If I drop out of uni now, work at boring job living at my parents place about half the year, and then still live in in glasgow other half of the year with the money I make. I wouldn't have a student loan, but I wouldn't have to pay for uni either. I'd have to pay council tax then ofc as well. I wonder if I could live as comfortably as I do now.
It would be interesting though. Basically spend half the year on holiday. Just month after month of waking up and no deadlines, no real commitments beyond the stuff I really wanna do myself. I'd be down for living like that even if I was pretty skint all the time I reckon. I couldn't keep it going for too long though, at some point I can't live at my parents half the year anymore. They'd also probably hate me for it as it would look like I wasn't doing shit with my life. Maybe that lifestyle would be good for getting seriously into this music shit though.
This would probably get really boring but still
