You need to sort out a barbers and choreography classes before DMZ I think

Its' best not to worry about planning 'moves' just go where the music takes you. If the bass doesn't inspire some form of physical reaction in you, there must be something wrong with your body's connection to the brain. You shouldn't even have to think about what to do if you're feeling the music.

One good thing about dubstep raves is at least the smelly guys keep their distance... Not like big cheesy dance parties at Turnmills if you so much as look at a guy he's grinding on you. There was one the other night though that did not dance at all just followed me round the floor staring at me. None of this creepy behaviour at DMZ please... Stick to ogling the speakers not me please!

Sincere apologies northern steppas. I was pissed and passionate. Sooo looking forward to getting down to Sin City to shove my head into a big left speaker with one of your progressive compatriates on the decks. Can you send out Unknown or convert Deepchild while he's there. Appreciate the perspectives here even if you don't spiral yourself.

Do get annoyed when my vodka redbull that just cost me about 6quid gerts knocked all over the floor...but thats just the way a rave goes...if you can't deal with little bits like that just cotch!!

Not that I'm enamoured meself with the 70s time-warped, would-be rastas but, if you listen close, there's interstitial music in doublestep (to avoid the orangement) that says things directly to the body. That's why I don't skank to boring reggae anymore.

Besides, you don't have to watch us offbeats; watch the ladies, the clumsy, the beautiful, the cool, the lads, the tourists, the trendoids etal or, better still, get off your hh and join your fellow (wonderful) mutants in idiosyncratic body movements.

...and I'll try to not make assumptions meself.

DEEEEEP - this bredda knows about the consciousness ting. ill see u on the other sde boss. yeh when it comes to dance its all about just brockin out in a serious rudeboy fashion. i remember i must of been in one dmz - just arrived, made my prescence felt - then - some hippy dreaded norweigan poet look a like tapped me on the shoulder and asked me if i could move a bit so he could see - i thought i was in beadles about as it was tremendously comedic

At the last DMZ, with the few very notable exceptions of Silkie, N Type's girl and that girl with the white legs (at the front left), most people looked like they were dancing to some next rhythm. Limbs all over the place.

What happened to all the energy, attitude and finesse? How can we address the co-ordination difficulties of the dubstep punters? Is it the same in other countries? Is anyone else bothered?

Simple way to address these issues: lead by example.
