@ Freebentos - its still all programed beats, they just play live over the top. They dont necessarily quantize everything though, which is both part of the charm and vibe of it (for me anyway) and what makes it feel like the tunes are falling out of time. Except for Randy's stuff (I think). One of them was saying how they have a sequencer that falls out of time "in just the right way"....
:
yea man, i was tlakign more about the dsico and shit, I assumed all the skweee stuff was programmed but meant to be a bit all over the place. Excuse my lack of production speak as I really dont have a clue...
Right on... I figured, but it can make a big mental difference when mixing, I find. But yeah, thats why I try to only mix a 'live' tune into a programed one if I can help it... and like I was sayin, some of it isnt in time, so...
No worries on the production-speak - I know how to do it, but still dont always know how to get my point across sometimes - I feel you man.
Ive decided that Im going to try to get three mixes done this weekend if I can. One old house vinyl, one new house mp3's from a friend (super-hot new school jackin house - so sick!) and the Skweeee mix Ive been putting on the back burner for months. The Skweee one is gonna be the toughest - programing those sets take ages! (But so worth it!)

HA you want to mix it w/ dubstep, but i've only heard 1 or 2 skweee tracks that're that slow. mostly 90-100 as you said, and there are some up at 110-120.
it can be beat matched but you have to keep the mixes short or they go out of time.

@legendary - juicy electro funk nuggets at a slow n slinky groove. what's not to get?
@tekton - no vinyl. it's kind of tuff to do an 18 track comp on vinyl. maybe 2 12's at 33 RPM but SO much more cost effective for the label to do CD.

Ive got 4 now... the two Eero tunes, Wankers United and and Madam Skoui... actually theres another two older ones I cant think of, now that I think of it...
and its all still done on drum machines so its still in time, its just that their beat structures are so weird sometimes that you'll think its on when its not...
@ Are-K142 - thanks man, there's another one (or two) in the works right now...

As for the old blue last, a healthy dose of tonic is good for dealing with wankness
