one time i had a particularly potent psychedelic experience where i left my body and terrence mckenna was my tourguide to the universe.

i didn't see him, but the experience was a telepathic communication

maybe it was him

maybe it was a projection from my mind

maybe it was a cloak to make me more comfortable with my tourguide

But once you are out of your own ego, you will see how the world really is!

its better to encourage people to meditate

And i do mean that psychedelics are NOT for everybody like Timothy Leary said wanted it to be!
Meditation does not come close to the psychedelic experience!

i do understand what he's saying

but he also is not making much distinction between religion and meditation

he also is saying its a general function enhancer. which is not true. i can hardly function when tripping. i changed my signature on the board when tripping a few weeks ago and it took like 15 minutes.

all i was trying to type was "there are no ordinary moments"

but yeah. i get what he's saying. tripping helps meditation. and i have had the suspicion that these techniques were developed under the influence of psychedelic drugs, if not always practiced on em.

If you personally want to get the most out of it!
Take a super heavy dose of shrooms!
Sit in the dark and meditate!

You will feel your ego trying to kill alot of thougts by filtering!
Those filters are highly stimulated by the experience of Media and things you see and hear in daily life!
Kill that and you have truly free'd your head!

It is really not a matter of more awareness, it is a matter of getting out of the program!
