definitely. especially for back cat stuff - finding vinyl is proving to be a bit of a tnuc for the newly converted.

yeah yall gotta get this! ive got to be able to listen to and play for others amazing tunes. and i mean, seriously, if you put up the lossless audio i will pay out the ass for the songs. theyre worth more to me, personally, as FLACs than vinyls.
also, this isnt really the place but i cant get on the rinse forums right now...but just heard about this P2P live streaming. Rise Fm in denmark uses it. maybe rinse wants to maximize their bandwidth (an optimistic 97% reduction is quoted)....

will defo be getting them beats as audio files... Am well into the early Skream / Benga stuff with that electro vibe. WAVs or FLACs would be perfect.

i am alllll for this idea. since distro where i am stateside is pretty shite, i use digital format. would LOVE wav format too! not a fan of buying mp3s only to reencode a lower quality format back to wav. kinda blows...

Nice One Chef- the idea will work, people can download for personal play, or burn to CD for playing out on CDJ's, or use them straight away on Serato Scratch or Final Scratch. Have enjoyed stocking up on old Hotflush, DMZ, Planet Mu digital releases from Karmadownload and Bleep.

Yeah, this is a very good idea. Hopefully Benga Beats Vol. 1 will be available here - impossible to find that anywhere (still kicking myself for missing out on the restock on Indpendance).

Very good idea! Also, I've always thought it would make perfect sense for artists to release their older material (Big Apple etc) as digital downloads. I'm not the greatest fan of buying music as mp3s or whatever when I can buy it on vinyl or CD, but downloads are perfect for out-of-print releases.
Big up the future.
