I agree scepticism is healthy...could be employed more often for the benefit of those who are convinced of anything. I'll change my mind about this if I realize that it makes me unhappy.

Im not gonna back those claims up by dragging out the million and 1 documentries, news paper articles and other sources of information widely available that have led me to this conclusion. Nor do I wish to enter into any form of debate on any of those issues in this thread as it is pointless, the majority of people believe conspiracy theories to be nonsense and will do anythign to defend their idea of how our world really works. I just wanna add this post so that the one dude, who from where Im standing seems to be talking sense in this thread, doesnt feel like hes the only person who sees these things going on around him.

I think everybody ought to take some of these issues a little more seriously, i think the fact that most people aren't is testimony to the fact we seem to have been programmed out of seeking the truth and a genuine understanding of the things happening around us. most people just seem to accept the authority as the truth instead of the other way around.

about the conspiracy thing: you guys seen the episode of South Park where the kids figure out that the government really had nothing to do with 9/11, but they like to convince theorists they COULD have been involved, just so that they try vainly to convince everyone else so everyone else is left trying to decide if the government has that much power or not? To some extent, YES...this is exactly what is going on. But to add a whole other twist(its a twist!)...there are people pulling strings. However, the strings are not as strong as they would have us believe. Look at the history of the Freemasons. They fucking OWN the Encyclopedia Brittanica. Not to mention have been involved in every single presidential race the US has ever had.

But do they have control over our THOUGHTS AND ACTIONS...fuck no. But damn do they want us to believe they do!

A (black) friend & I(white) had a conversation the other day about HipHop. Even the brightest MCs still bring up race. But see, that is what those in power WANT! They want us to focus on color instead of PERSON. Sure, some white people are fucking biggots whose families traded slaves. But guess what!? Are you black? Did you come from Africa, Jamaica, S America, UK? Then YOUR families traded slaves too! There were no white people in ancient egypt. Thats right, even jesus. We(human beings!) are ALL responsible for what has happened in the past. We ALL have to work together to make this world a better place. Judging by this topic and most similar debates, most of the people seem to intentionally avoid rational approaches and engage only in emotional rhetorics. that's not in their benefit and humans are designed to act in their benefit. If not them being manipulated since ever by churches, schools, media and shit, what causes this anomaly?
Plus a lot of university teachers in USA complain about the exam standards being lowered lately to the point where it is reasonable to think of a national threat.

just tried to be nice and respect my own standards about substantiating my claims in a debate and wanted to provoke others that share my taste for accurate analysis to contribute, i've learned many things from cool people in similar debates, but i guess you knew more than i do, i just had to experience it with some guys who can't even read and understand short sentences

What I said wasn't directed at anyone, its just anything any politics, religion or conspiracy just turns into a shambles in the SNH... But people persist in wanting to talk about... Seems a bit pointless to me cause it always ends up in 2-3 people just ranting on, posting essays for a few weeks until another topic on politics, religion or a conspiracy pops up.
You know, its not wise to touch a electric fence twice, let alone piss on it.

No ones ever right or wrong in these sort of discussions and sometimes it just turns into hostility, random bantering to help people get through their daily graft in the office.
