you mean along the line of what LTsquared did? I really like them the one time I saw them.
I think other turntablism techniques might be neat, like beat juggling and such. you would have to do alot of noodeling to figure out what would sound good.

It's a personal taste tho surely? Like some ppl liking MC's on Dubstep - same as with scratching, if its good it's good shouldn't be, er, de rigeur!
What he said!
I'd love to hear the scratch equivalent of Spaceape...
I reckon with sense and talent you could fit more or less anything into dubstep and make it good, and scratching has the bonus that it can be stuck in live. It'd be cool to hear eg live scratching and FX over super minimal kick / snare / sub riddims.

Nah scratching ain't for me in dubstep its all about the mix.
its all about the beats, its just doesn't match the feel of the music!
Anyway its just a wee bit irritating

All really depends on the DJ. Lets say someone like Plus One (Scratch Perverts) is blessing us with his skills then I think it could sound quite mint & complement the rythm.
But it could be a cringe-worthy moment if some part-timer trys to attempt a bit of turntablism.....
