gold diaper is cleaner and better produced (but needs more cowbell ). seems that demon is more like a last minute deal than a proper mixdown. Gold diaper wins productionwise IMO.

Looking at the tunes in Sound Forge it appears they both have drums volumes issue:
* track A, the kick peaks at -1 dB while all other instruments remain at -6 dB max
* track B, the snare peaks at more than -1 dB while the kick hits barely -6

Now, technically speaking track B sounds better to me but I prefer the vibe of track A. Tough call.

Anyway, where's the poll?

i edited my post to say i don't have the time...maybe in a week or 2, got enuff work on at the mo...but even at that...i don't think i'd want to...not really got any beef enough to care about this level of competitiveness
