I have a suspicion that my driving instructor, who is black, may have been on that recently leaked list of BNP members

As we pulled up outside my house at the end of our lesson I was telling about my trip to the States

She asked me 'tell me, do you hate it when you arrive back in London?'

'Er not really, I'm just not that keen on coming back to the weather' 'Why do you ask?'

'well once you get away from the airport and are back in London you hardly seen any white faces'

Didn't know what to say at this point given the absurdity of the situation and so just looked at her incredulously

Anyway, I carried on with the conversation

'I actually like living London but do feel that it's overcrowded. Is hard not to step on each others toes. It can only accommodate so many, But still I do like London'

'yeah they don't spread out. If you're after 'old England' then you've got move out to somewhere like Essex or Kent

'Old England?'

'It's not like years ago, Old England is disappearing fast'

'can't say I'm familiar with Old England, must've been before my time'

Fortunately at this point the conversation didn't get any more ridiculous as she quickly opened the car door to remove the driving school board from the roof of her car

I settled up with the payment of my lesson and wished her a nice weekend

It's no surprise it's the old traditional heartlands that have such a high concentration of BNP members.

reading this, i can only think about the gay marriage ban here in the states right now. 'Gay people should not be allowed to get married or have children, but i promise i'm not anti-gay!' errr...

The problem with no official release is that now there could be edited lists floating around containing people who weren't originally on there - or BNP members with their details changed, so you might be bricking/burning the wrong address. Additionally, all these lists now on the torrent sites will be a five minute laugh for most sensible and open minded people but in reality could be used to recruit new blood and connect even more BNP members into smaller more locally active groups - and this would be a nightmare for everyone.

Whichever way you look at it this is really a witch hunt, and even though most of these people are pretty detached and almost certainly very ignorant it actually sets a president for this kind of activity being acceptable, and could possibly be used to single out other minority groups that don't have the same kind of political protection.

If all other active and legitimate parties published their member lists this would force the BNP (and others like them) to do the same if they wished to be a part of the modern democratic process. At least there would be some level of transparency to their operations. Therefore your opinion is only valid if you are willing to state your true identity (duh - like voting for example). What made me laugh on that blog site full of BNP responses was how many people posted anonymously even though their details were already out there.

Naming and shaming can sometimes be a good thing but in most cases it sends these kinds of activities further underground, creating even more dangerous and clandestine groups that will be harder to track and impossible to regulate.

It's quite ironic that IBM worked with the German izan party from as early as 1933 in creating a database to log and record the Jewish and minority population shortly before the whole thing went pear shaped, and that now that technology is being used to do the same to those who back then would have instigated and supported its creation.
This is neither time or the place.

This needs repeating. I fucking hate fascists with a passion, but some kind of reverse redwatch technique is not going to get anything done. I could get a copy of that list and put a load of people i don't like on it and nobody would be any the wiser until they got their head kicked in.

Plus when people start dragging them out of their homes and slapping them about, Griffin is just going to complain about how they are a persecuted silent majority and how us multiculturalists are all savages or something, fuck him, I don't want to be the one giving his crew of small minded assholes any kind of quasi-legitimate leg to stand on

this is pretty interesting to me.

cuz i actually know someone on that list, met him while I was working in korea - we worked at the same place. solid dude.

anyways he told me back then (last year) that he joined some far-right political party for his sociology dissertation @ uni, like undercover or whatever - infiltration type business.

so come to find out, I read the list, & he's on it too - so not everyone on the list is an actual member.

just a thought
