to be honest im usually happy with 320
i can tell the difference between 320 and 128 on my set up which is just a slightly above average 5.1
does it really matter though, you can get like 500gb hard drives for less than 60 quid...

rubbish
as if have u never herd of ppl having golden ears?
some ppl can just pick out these differences.
It wouldn't surprise me that a lot of people probably haven't heard that lol
dunno, i've seen first hand how accurate some peoples hearing can be. A guy i went to college with who is now doing pretty well at mastering could tell the slightest difference in sounds and pinpoint which frequencies the difference covered. I think anyone who has been making tunes will develop their hearing to some level but some people are blessed with amazingly accurate ears!

... 320 is overkill if ur listening to it on a speaker made out of cardboard boxes with a half eaten tweeter and 200 year old maplins cables...

this thread is jokes.

I dunno why MP3 even exists anymore. With the price of HD's (so fucking cheap) and the speed of the internet these days, there's not really any reason for using lossy formats at all. Sending a 24bit WAV @ 125Mb takes about 5-10 mins over AIM. If that's too long to wait for quality music, then something is wrong. As for cutting 320's to dub, I've done it, because I wanted to see how it would turn out. Pure bollocks, just so you know.

lol

my "obsession" is that I make my tunes, it sounds shitty in 128kbps

i bounce it to 320

i export

i am lazy

i am now done with my work

please pardon me if myself and others don't call up some techies to get top notch quality for the free release we're putting out on the dubstep forums for some poor grumpy fucker who wants to bitch about the quality of something which is put in front of him for free and is not forcing him to listen to it

easy solution - buy tunes or buy a fucking hard drive, otherwise keep your mouth shut n go demonstrate what we all should be doing with some wonderful tracks from yourself

Constrobuz wrote:dont you guys know that v0 is better? v0 tends to peak at ~240 or something anyway, so i'd rather have 256s than 320s. dubstep tracks are unnecessarily long anyway (i made a thread about that but it mysteriously disappeared), a 2 track dubstep digital release shouldnt be fucking 25mb. i'm not made out of hard drives here.
if u had a 12 inch cock would you say it was excessively long though ... ?
