While your at it if you don't mind, maybe you could ask them to add dubstep!starkey wrote:i forgot to add that i've already e-mailed MySpace asking them to add these formally recognized genres to the genre pull-down menu for artist pages.
and maybe we can add "El-B's beerfarts" as a genre as wellabZ wrote:While your at it if you don't mind, maybe you could ask them to add dubstep!starkey wrote:i forgot to add that i've already e-mailed MySpace asking them to add these formally recognized genres to the genre pull-down menu for artist pages.
There's nothing to discuss, anyone who believes one is generally better or has more musical integrity in general than the other is retarded. Like I said, yeah, we may have the likes of Soulja Boy, but y'all have lady Sov, and as far as I'm concerned, their crimes against music are equally heinous.seckle wrote:lets have another 25 pager about UK vs USA, because we've never discussed that before. i'm pumped. awesome.
and fuck up the rest of the world!abZ wrote:That blows man. In America for the most part there is respect, love and support from coast to coast. Its every where, north v south of england, west v east in london, E18 v E13 post code wars all the way down to sub hate in each postcode.
I'm afraid your pretty much stuck with it. Check out a track by jakes called haterz. It gives the best and only advice http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BKTEU4E4BQo
People really need to step back and take a look at what they are doing. Seems so silly to me that people take a song or producer that they don't like as a personal insult. It really makes no sense.
Woah mate, have some modesty about yourself - He didn't even say he didn't like your music just said it wasn't a style he was feeling.Stenchman wrote:to me, you bear no relationship whatsoever to a person whos views i give a toss aboutReptilian wrote:to me trolley snatcha, cookie monsta and stenchman bear absolutely no relationship whatsoever to what i originally liked about dubstep
NONE WHATSOEVER - it might as well be a totally different genre of music
The irony being that by bothering to type out that post he indicated that he did indeed give a toss, and quite a big one at that.adisize wrote:Woah mate, have some modesty about yourself - He didn't even say he didn't like your music just said it wasn't a style he was feeling.Stenchman wrote:to me, you bear no relationship whatsoever to a person whos views i give a toss aboutReptilian wrote:to me trolley snatcha, cookie monsta and stenchman bear absolutely no relationship whatsoever to what i originally liked about dubstep

he didn't say "stenchman does not understand dubstepz init" he said you did not bear a relationship to what HE LIKED about dubstep, that is not an insult.
I wouldn't particularly spin one of your records, but with the amount of releases i see from you, you must be doing something right but this attitude is not what I think you should be giving out.
Touche, you have auto-tuned Rnb shite, we have Channel U. Honestly, if you ever get the chance, watch it. It'll probably be the funniest piece of television you'll ever watch.Feral Witchchild wrote:There's nothing to discuss, anyone who believes one is generally better or has more musical integrity in general than the other is retarded.
