also the term dubstep i seem to be using more and more loosely to describe bass orientated music at around 140..
im not one for pigeon holing and i think its a bit pedantic to say that the new untold ep and the jame blake 12 dont fit albeit loosely under the umbrella of dubstep.
admitedly no charisma is house but then imo the martyn bit is deep house if anything..
i think the human need to split up music into easily digestable sub genres is long and i merely wanted to express my appreciation for the incredible amount of forward thinking music thats already come out this year (although this thread is blatantly jumping the gun).. out to the second half of the year.. your time

Digidesign is still my favourite Joker tune this year though. That and When I look at U are the big two from 2009 for me.

& 2562 - kontrol...possibly the tune of the year for me. the others are also huuuuuuuge but i absolutely love kontrol.
