Just note it's a growl bass demo not a musical composition so it sounds awful lol

Skrillex uses stuff from each of his tracks in all his other tracks. I've heard similar growls and basses chopped into multiple tracks.

Yeah, he used the same growl that is at the drop in dquinox in a remix that was never released or something

Yeah nice growl. I think you should try process it further (multiband distortion, phasing, eq'ing), it will sound even better.

ACTUALLY I'm more interested of recreating the Kill the Noise Growl... so, I'm going to duplicate WOW and add Chorus or something

It's pretty sick for resampling, let me tell you that. Maybe raw too, but I find that timestretching some of the sounds youve run through it can make some beastly sounds.
And son, I'm dissapointed. Shouldnt limit plugins to what they are really "meant" for.

yep
wut
Try speeding down the disco rangers clip, does the synth sound familiar then? Think it's the same synth as in needed change with little changes just an octave up
EDIT: I sped down the needed change growl, heard some familiarities with a growl I've made before in massive, time to experiment
EDIT 2: Ok, so just tried something real quick with some filtering. It has that same hollowness to it that skrillex's growls have, other than that it's pretty shit though. But I really just love that hollowness

Ok ok.
Soundcloud
This time I used:
-2 WOW Filters
-3 Multiband Distortion Filters [OTT, Speech Enhancer and a preset I made]
-Flanger
-Chorus
-2 Automated EQ's
-2 Dynamic Tubes
-Reverb
Same patch, it sounds pretty close to KTN [for my ears] what do you think?

Pretty shite when in 128 kbps, but anyways.
Here's the result after some experimenting. I definetely think I overdid things, to put it that way. Tried to make the growls fit in a context here.
Soundcloud
Basically, I made a massive patch of 3 wavetables being automated, but I played it an octave lower than what you hear here. I also played it twice as long. Then I automated 3 notches to get that hollowness to it, bit of distortion, and recorded into edison. Threw it in the flp again, and made it play twice as fast, like you hear here. Interesting experiment I have to say. I even made some growls where I played it at 1/4 of this speed, automated a talkbox on it, and sped it up again. Got some cool results

What wavetables have you used? I'm amazed

That actually works well the other way around - we all know how formant filters can take away a lot of the low end - so play high notes with formant filtering on then slow it down. Makes really nice growls.
