Liked it, the synth work isnt particularly dubstep, but with the 2step drums still it sounds really good, would be an awesome one to hear half way through a set... wouldnt mind a 320 if you've got one?

Well the track would be pretty much nothing without the tune (?) so I'll try to make it less aggresive/annoying or just go for something different.soupdogg wrote:Ditch the chiptune shit it gave me a headache, tighten up the drums, make them crisper, sharper. the bassline sounds like it was meant for a completely different track, and is very flat.Koo wrote:http://soundcloud.com/kooma/speed-2
Bash it, would be nice to know what's good place to start improving.
The chiptune feel made me feel like it was gonna drop into like a Gabba tune, the drum pattern is ok, maybe you could change it up a little bit more though at some point.Koo wrote:Well the track would be pretty much nothing without the tune (?) so I'll try to make it less aggresive/annoying or just go for something different.soupdogg wrote:Ditch the chiptune shit it gave me a headache, tighten up the drums, make them crisper, sharper. the bassline sounds like it was meant for a completely different track, and is very flat.Koo wrote:http://soundcloud.com/kooma/speed-2

I'll try to do something with the bassline too, I had feeling it ain't fitting in too. Is the drum pattern itself any good?

Here's a tune I've been working on for a bit, not sure of the arrangement, but hopefully you guys can tell me what you think.
Ok, I like the basis of it. The bass floats in just right, not really my type of tune most of the time, but it certainly has its place. One thing I'd do is give the siren dynamics. Right now the siren just stays constant through out the entire song, I like it raising tension in the intro, but once the drop comes turning down or spacing out the siren would help focus attention on the drop/vibe. Secondly, I'm not sure how intentional this is, but the delay on the vocals could be a bit better. Right now the 'wet' delay hits right at 100% the same volume as the sample, even turning that down a bit would make it clearer (though not too clear) and disturb the ears (at least mine) less. Just gotta give the tune a bit more up & down, and you've got something on your hands.this Kid named Lamont wrote:any chance anyone can give me Feedback on this tune?

Giving this a bump as I am not at home and trying to think where to take it while away. Thoughts?
