A while ago at least. And didn't he even quit at a point. I'm sorry I'm not too sure.
Goldberg Variations
what a name.
Weren't Tech Itch and Freak the only bigger labels he worked with? I was wondering why that split up, all the old darksteppers haven't been sharing the stage or releases anymore.
I think it was a bigger label maybe headz actually. I know tech itch has had some issues with the dnb scene though but that seems almost mandatory now.

Limwax on Headz seems crazy, though they did release some equally hard Kryptic Minds & Leon Switch stuff.
I think he was the one 'skullstepper' the more mainstream guys looked to.
Those amens the first time you heard them whoa.

"The Hard Way" have an album out, I'm not much into it, too Atari Teenage Riot, but one of their first tunes "Pantagram of Coke was dope.
The name Looh may be a joke, since there's only one released tune under that name from a collaborative EP between the two, came out in late 2011, but it's good.
I wasn't too into Goldberg Variations, but I believe they have two EPs out. The first Limewax/Panacea collab, 'The Empire Ep' is still their best work together

i know i have heard something from him at some point but i don't know much of his music, giving it a listen atm sounds good but is less bpms than this stuff? sounds like breakbeat to me
Yeah his new stuff is unimpressive tbh, pretty good but not groundbreakingly insane.

This is more production related but I'd like your oppinion.
I'm working on a concept of music right now where I sample something like a machine gun - slow it down and look at how the individual sounds are muffled by each other and then try to mimic that with drum sounds. There's no reason the rythm section shouldn't be quadrupled compared with the speed of some of the other instruments.
Any thoughts or ideas?
It's not supposed to sound like xanopticon or similar tracker music though, but much faster.
