Haha live for 2 years, is that how much they get off LPs?! Wasn't really a dig at Terror Danjah, I was just using him as an example of an album which seems more like a collection of singles than an album.. Majority of 'bass albums' are, just seems like some producers find it hard to get out of that 'making tunes for a DJ/DJing purposes' mindset when constructing an album, but hey who am I to say an album shouldn't be completely DJ material!
.. saying that if its out on 1 12" it isn't ideal for DJing to begin with lol.
guess some producers stick to what they're good at?
come to think about it, albums i enjoy the most are somewhere in the middle, cohesive enough to not be just random tunes lumped together, but varied enough to not sound like the same tune for one hour, without experimentalism for the sake of experimentalism
Doctor Dave wrote:Really? Can you show me some of them? I know at least one of them is Trim, and the vocals in Vampin and Late Night sound like the same guy.
Where'd he go? I remember Visionist got into an argument with him and left after that, now they're both gone.
Also thanks for the sample sources ehbrums.
