To be fair I was playing it late at night with headphones on every time I played it, half sleep deprived......The again - even when I play Resident Evil (even the first one) I still get the shit scared out of me.....
I don't like things jumping out at all...
That being said.....I agree with everything you've said.. the graphics are sick, AI 'nd also the upgrade system is pretty neat. Good game just not for me.

Yeah, I didn't bother with the first... got the demo and it looked great, but the addition of some same-console multiplayer did it for me... I generally don't buy games that I can't play with my housemates.
Although I had to buy Shaun White anyway... As a snowboarder (and a Cool Boarders, X Games Pro Boarder, Shaun Palmer sort of gamer) I hated the SSX series because they seemed essentially just like racing games that were set on snow.... had a quick blast on Shaun White last night and it's waaaaaaay better. It's got that little bit of class that Cool Boarders had... sometimes you're just happy to get massive air and pull a really simple, stylish trick rather than rack up all the multipliers.
Also, the idea of internet multiplayer on a free-roaming mountain with no majorly competitive aspect is amazing. Can't wait to see what that's like. Although it's probably just full of kids arguing with each other!

I really need to learn to have a bit of patience too. I'd save myself loads!
Yeah FarCry2 is an impressive game. I love the fire effects and the way it spreads - I'm a bit of a pyro in that game actually!
The freedom is really good, just being able to roam pretty much where you like is great and all of the graphics are wonderful. I have to say though, that I found the travelling a little tiresome after a while and sometimes it felt a bit repetitive. All in all a damn good game though!

Yeah, I had it, turned it off then left it 10/15 mins and it sorted itself out.
I've known 2 people in the last couple of weeks who've had to get their PS3s replaced as the bluray disc player quit on them. I thought PS3s were so well made this kind of thing wouldn't happen

. Mine still seems fine, it might be that the newer machines are the ones with a fault.
