just do what i did, collect records for 3 years and never be able to afford a turntable cause all money goes to vinyl

I buy vinyl just for the fact that I like the sound and I like having it, for now I'd just shell out for a shitty weak turntable and start buying records

theyre not really getting much more expensive at this point, some are even getting cheaper than what they were a year or two ago

theres 100% a difference, the problem is just that if that difference is better or not is subjective. i think vinyl sounds a lot more pleasant, some people don't personally don't think it's worth it.

plus theres the collecting aspect (big reason of why i do it), the idea that you're actually buying a product rather than 1s and 0s, the larger artwork, etc. im a lot happier when i see a record delivered at my doorstep or peep it in a bin and go pay for it at the register, as opposed to clicking "checkout" online and downloading a file.

even just playing it is more fun... flicking past all the records in a bin, picking it out, pulling it out of the sleeve, laying it on the platter, dropping the needle... vs. double clicking a file on a screen. there's just something special about the process to me.

technics were my first choice but they are really expensive might go with some numarks like rayman or some audio technicas for 100 bucks

And yeah Marzz I recommend doing some research... If your just gonna be playing home and the occasion gig I don't see a need to get technics...

if i ever get the cash to step up, & cant find used technics gonna get those new, seem to be just as good w/o the name

also ehb if u been to a show where u hear vinyl & then serato u can tell the difference, digital sounds tinny
