Probably get about 2 clicks a week, and I'm guessing one of them is you haha. Get a few pence per click as well.

I'm going to get back on this; my blog kind of fell apart when I moved back to Spain, with an AdSense earn a couple quid before the threshold. Think it's going to take a new direction though.

Just found out what a headache it is getting embed players to work on blogspot...

for future reference, if anyone wants to have files hosted on other random servers play on your site, this script works pretty well:

In regards to blogging, I am no stranger. I have blogged for some fairly big industry names with music and get paid for it. At most I'll get £100 a month, but usually it's more like £20 because I work very little.

Anyway, I still feel a bit short-changed. I practically run one blog and get little wealth from it. So, this is my question: Should I start my own blog? I can write about loads, and on everything. But is it financially worth it? Also, what are the fundemental rules to get earning on a blog? Thanks. Basically would it be worth blogging independantly or should I just take the £20 and be humble?

you have to remember that when you branch off on your own, you're starting fresher than a newborn baby. no one knows your blog or what it's about, so it's on you to make sure that you get yourself exposure, all the while writing quality posts daily. it starts off slow but will larger and larger, depending on how much heart you put into it and the blogging community as a whole.

personally, if you want to skip all that, I would ask the big industry names if you can get your own special series, since you already have an in with them... the whole starting out bit is the hardest part, for sure. that's why there are so few ninjas left in this thread, they never wanted to break through that wall. It's taken me almost a full year but I couldn't be happier with where my tiny little blog has ended up.

Right, seriously going to give this a go now. Just done a load of keyword research around a topic I am pretty knowledgable/have access to content about. Got a list of 33 keywords with a good balance of traffic/competition each of which I can base an article around. Gonna put some general content articles out there first to try and get things moving/get google interested bfore going for the money posts.

I work in E-Commerce so already have a pretty good idea of how this could work and what needs to be done in terms of SEO.

Aiming for £5 a month in adsense. Wish me luck!
