Basically because a lot of people call it techno and 'real' technosnobs dont like this.
Me included though, so I'm not exactly objective.

dunno...just a couple things...actually, the catalyst for me noticing was Helix saying it was shit on here a few days ago haha. Saw something Objekt mentioned about it a while ago, too...although I didn't really understand if what he said was against it.

I've been asked to DJ at a PSy Trance party at the end of the month.
I haven't played dark psy in probably 2 years now.
I think I may have to educate and play some hefty bass music at the wee dark hours of the morning.

Any suggestions for darker tunes in the 147-155 bpm range?

Serious question requiring answers.

Check a lot of clubroot's stuff, specifically his newest LP has some really beautiful dark 150ish tunes in that range

And Loefah, although I doubt his tunes would fit with psytrance

just off the top of my head, disko rekah is 150 ish and root is 148 ish


and I'll admit the only psytrance I've heard is in a rave video I saw that was like 10 minutes long you got me there, just going off of what I've heard of it

Taking into account that he regularly plays acid techno and that he's awesome, I'd say he has a natural aversion to tech house.
