lol what empirical evidence that they are scumbags? Several ex-members were, yes, every party has scumbags. In the week leading up to the EU elections 17 people from the other parties were arrested on various charges including racially aggravated assault.

Just saying scumbags over and over doesn't form an argument imo.

Bankrolled by ex-tories again not an argument for why they are cretins.

Also pls stop linking to that blog it's rubbish and looks like it has been designed by a five year old. Do you not agree that the nhs is in a terrible state and something needs to be done?

lol you have believed the media's bullshit propaganda, ukip don't want to get rid of all the immigrants (immigration is not something i am even really bothered with tbh) they just want to be able to have a say on who comes here and who doesn't as opposed to the eu saying you have to take everyone we give you. This also means we could increase immigration from places not in eu like brazil, china, india and other countries.

Yeah wouldn't it be lovely to just let people go wherever but just like everything that is 'lovely' it is often harder to carry out than it seems.

this is a bit of a stretch tbh. The National Socialists got in power mainly because of the effects of the Treaty of Versailles and the desire for the return of a powerful Germany.

Then again, a shit economy was a major factor in both parties victories.

Hitler got in power because democratically elected leaders handed him the throne to control a silent minority who they believed could spin out of control.

UKIP got the votes because a lot of people agree with them.

I'm not a fan of UKIP either, but don't scaremonger.

Too pro-democracy, not free market enough and in support of centrally issued currency and they seem to emphasize closed borders. I'm an open borders kind of guy.

If you're against mass-migration because you don't think the infrastructure and bureaucracy could support it (I TAKE NO POSITION ON THIS), then I think the best solution is through the market (as usual with me). Open borders enable free trade and housing prices, local markets, etc and other factors would self-regulate migration through the market.

What I would like to add is that out of all major UK parties, UKIP appears to be the most anti-war and most pro-national souvereinty. Which I think should be kept in mind. There are things that aren't bad about them at all. Their foreign policy of anti-foreign entanglements and their anti-EU stance are really good.

Ahh fair enough. Yeah as i said earlier immigration isn't a huge concern to me, although i think eventually it could become a problem to the infrastructure and what not if too many people come too quickly, so we should have some sort of way of regulating how many people come in imo.

The main reason i voted for them was that they are the only party who are deadly against the EU which i think is a complete farce and having UKIP and other eurosceptic MEPs will hopefully accelerate it's demise. They are also the only party who are strongly for nuclear energy and agree that fracking is a good short term solution which i agree with.

Yeah for me it was definitely a case of voting for, imo, the lesser of 3 evils. They definitely have some policies i disagree with but no more so than any of the other parties.
