If you like your technical fighting games then I'd recomend it. Playing online is awesome but can be very frustrating when you can't enter peoples games. I find the best way to get a game is just create and normally have someone join within a minute.

Single player is pretty good as well and its next level on the harder modes, still havn't beaten Seth (new boss char) on very hard

Feels like a bit of a Fisher Price RTS, it has to be said. It's very 'rigid' - bases can only be set up at particular points in the map; and buildings can only be built in certain places within those bases.

It feels like Ensemble have been too afraid to push the Halo canon, unit design very rarely straying from the usual that you'd see playing through any of the Halo FPSs.

That said though, it does look very good. When there's a big fight going on, it's a visual feast an retains the feel of other Halo games. The control system - designed from scratch for the 360 - works very well and is easy to pick up.

If I wasn't a massive Halo nerd then I'd probably not be too impressed with it - any C&C game poops all over it really. But if you're new to Real Time Strategy games, and are a big fan of the Halo series, I'd say it was worth a go.

Anyone else played this?

BTW Datman - £15 for Dead Space is a right bargain! Wicked game!
Halo bitchnezz.

I'll add you tonight (Magma2k) - I've not played online yet, it's all about the getting blazed and jamming with my housemate!

Would be good to see how good other people are though... we're probably rubbish!

Anyone beat the campaign in Killzone 2? I've set the difficulty to the highest and now finally nearing the end in the Palace.

Wicked game!

Since my PS2 failed on me about a year ago i havnt been interested in buying or even playing a next gen console due to lack of time and money.

Im finally considering buying a new console, if only for Street Fighter 4 and Resi 5 (or possibly upgrading my PC) and was wondering which console you would recommend and why.

Thanks

think you might start a fanboy war here!

I like the xbox 360, but to be fair, I've only ever played CoD5 on the PS3. Xbox has more games for it, as it's been around longer. I think that at the moment, xbox gets the better exclusive games (Halo 3, Gears of War 2, Left 4 Dead). None of my mates have a PS3, so for online gaming, xbox is the way forward. Right now, at this moment in time, I;d recommend the 360 over the PS3.

Over the next year though, I dunno. I reckon PS3 might take the lead.

Depends on the sort of games you like - XBox has more of the first person shooter type things, but PS3 is starting to claw itself back with stuff like Killzone.

I don't generally go for that type of game, so largely, I prefer the PS3 because I can still play all my favourite games (which are almost all cross-platform), but I'm already used to the Playstation controller and I like the fact that it can play Blu-Rays.

Outside of that (and I suppose reliability issues on 360 or have they ironed those out?), any fanboy rants are exactly that.... fanboy rants! It's amazing how badly some people get worked up about their toys!

Although I'll quite happily defend my Manta Force collection to the fucking death against any M.A.S.K. wannabes.

Im into pretty much any genre bar role playing and real time strategy games. Im more of a casual gamer so just like to pick up and play so beat em ups and racers tend to do it for me, although if a game can hold my attention i do like to get stuck into a game and see it through to completion.

I do, its pretty decent. Only played a little bit but I like the co op single player. All about upgrading the shotgun to full fire power. Watch everything get destroyed :)
