Immediate "sit-down" position dancing. I kinda get lost with the vocal...is it "Burn it up...fast.bbbboy"?
Feeling it.

Snare could be more banging though...imo.

New one out, Maximum Love. Worked pretty hard on this one, feel like I made some real growth in my mixing skills. Not your average wonk! Very fresh and different imo(not to sound arrogant, I didn't say it was great!)
I would greatly benefit from any feedback or criticism. I will gladly peep our tunes if you drop them in my soundcloud box or pm me! Thank you!

@LHD, Hey man, to be 100% honest with you, to me this all sounded a bit of a mess, especially that bass drone. That combined with the high pitched synth line, a but painful. The elements are all fightig for a place in the mix and clashing, if you were to clean up th eindividual elements, (remove some phaser/flanger from the bass especially) it would sound allot tighter in my opinion. You clearly have some really nifty ideas, specially the use of the vocals in the breakdown, try and tighten the track up, and take osme phaser of that bass! hehe

sory if this seemed a bit negative, the track had some really good deas in it, it could just not be my cup o tea!keep up the good work!

@Naus-Good start, still needs some work, throw in some more elements that almost rewards people for listening till the very end, and a bit more or a punchy bass (although as im not a typical dubstep producer others on this forum would be allot more helpful on how to achieve that, fitting in with the 'dubstep' sound). Maybe just a bit basic for my taste, i love some trippy shit going on hear and there, sweepign through the mix. good tune tho man!

@Jbird, sick bass man. I agree wit Kapital, vocals are a bit out of synch, IF its one of these online robert voice generaters thing, maybe do each of the 'bads' individually and stutter them in the DAW, but you may have done this, dunno, just a thought. great work man.

lets hope this post doesnt disappear!

Hey,
Thanks for the feedback! im glad you enjoyed it mostly. I agree needs work still with arrangment and some more variation here and there thanks for highlighting this.

With this particulart tune I wasnt looking for a typical 'dubstep' sound thats not what I want to produce I would prefer to concentrate on producing my sound as apose to recreating typical styles.

Thanks again for taking the time to listen and review. il take your advice on board! :D

what up all,

i was thinking about sending this remix of Snoop Dogg's "sensual seduction" to him since he's into dubstep, mostly just for shits and giggles. this was probably the first mash up i ever did and wanted to see what you guys think!

Yo I can hear the original pushing through your track. It sounds a bit strange, though I understand this is a mash-up. The vocals get drowned out at points as well.

I just listened to the original to get a better feel of what you were doing (I don't listen to that song much) Try sampling the first part of the song, before he starts singing...and finding the acappella somewhere...it's Snoop so I bet it's all over the net. Then incorporate your elements inside...ya know?

Just a suggestion, I'm sure you can approach this any way really....or try clearing your version up a bit and reposting. Some EQing and shit...maybe if there was more space for the original and your beat to breathe I'd understand more of what you were aiming for.

Here you go guys.

Something deep, melodic and full of sub bass.

Let me know what you think.

I like a lot of things in this tune. I personally don't care too much for the wobble parts though. I feel like you could say more with less. Other than that, I think this is a good tune. It's a matter of personal taste, I just feel like people use wobbles in the place of additional musical ideas, like oh what can I do here? I know I'll use the same tired ass wobble sound that everybody uses! Instead of more explorative synth lines or a new drum break or vocal sample, or any other form of expression. It's like a fall back or a go to. Just my thoughts on the matter. Big up and good work though!!

@LHD, agreed, the wobble, unless used well, is making dubstep a parody of itself, but like the clickaclickaclicka of minimal techno. But then again a good wobble still puts a smile on my face.

To be sure my friend a good wobble is still gangsta!! For good wobble atm I gotta go with Truth. Nasty as hell and very tastefully done.

@ DJ Wash:
Reverse Swing: skilled good track.
La Femme Dub: Wauw man! I think if you work a little bit on the intro (which is already very good) you could make it sound realy EPIC if you know what i mean. The rest is just pure awesomeness, good vibes and LOVELY percussion! Glad you decided to make some dubsteptunes again :)

@ Legend4ry: What changed? Super tune anyways. It asks for a release :)

Ah thanks man!
good to get some feed back on the tunes for sure :)
I'm not sure how much more i can do to "le femme dub", i just got it mastered by Macc and got it cut as well... (Thanks again Macc! Sounds dope! proper rinse in HK on this one since mastering! BOOOH!)
but defo noted your feed back, might be a remix on the horizon ;)
