Fuck turning the journal into a screenplay, send them this thread instead! Or as a prequel.the wiggle baron wrote:The not talking is a long story, and the screenplay story is better.
Basically, we took a journal day by day of our holiday, just like writing down the shit that was happening...cos it all seemed too surreal lol So yeah, 3 weeks of us having countless blunders around europe later, as well as the weirdest time ever since we got back, and our journal was pretty fucking entertaining lol
So yeah, a journalist friend of aurias read it, and thought it was amazing. So yeah, he sent it on to a few contacts of his, and the director (or something along those lines) of aardman studios got back to us saying he loved it too, and wanted to get it sent down to a screenplay writer. So yeah, that guy then got back to us saying he's well up for turning it into a screenplay. Weve now spent a few weeks putting a basic script of our holiday together with a screenplay writer we know, and thats now being sent back to aardman to see if theyre up for having a bit of a play with it and...well...i dunno...possibly turn it into a film or something i guess lol0

The story was that intense I held in going for a pee the whole time, coz I felt so involved with the storyparticle-jim wrote:innit tho, i laughed, i (nearly) cried and i felt my stomach in knots with all the suspense and anti climaxes... shit was intense!BNanni wrote:Just read.. this whole thread.. it was quite emotional to be honest.
i dunno if the ending was THAT horrible, yeah getting rejected sucks ass but he seemed to take it quite responsibly and sensibly, it builds character and i'm sure wiggles is a much better man for itBNanni wrote:The story was that intense I held in going for a pee the whole time, coz I felt so involved with the storyparticle-jim wrote:innit tho, i laughed, i (nearly) cried and i felt my stomach in knots with all the suspense and anti climaxes... shit was intense!BNanni wrote:Just read.. this whole thread.. it was quite emotional to be honest.

Aaaaah so that's why she told you not to bother trying it on with that girl one time?!?! Crafty one she is. I like her.the wiggle baron wrote:Ha, its not quite the read it used to be...took some stuff out when i first thought it might be an odd thing to document on here...Was fun though, and time much better spent than revising.
Erm, as it is now...is interesting. Spoke to her for the first time in months the other day, which was pretty much just me reinforcing the fact that id rather not speak to her again.
Oh...and I kind of ended up with "that girl I live with" if anyone was following closely lol
