i'd say 4th is a best case scenario. Lallana has started playing really well, time for Markovic and Balotelli to step it up tho

Agree with that ofcourse but I did an edit too !

Not seeing a lot in Markovic unfortunately.

Yeah just read that. It seems as if Coutinho is gonna be splitting time with lallana which is unfortunate because I think the midfield is more creative with Phil. As for the back line, I have no fucking idea what to do...seems more systemic that personnel

Yeah ... there's obviously some sence in getting a left footed guy like Sakho... but I think Lovren is a genuinely great buy for any club..

oh and btw I feel like Aggers decision was super weird on top of that whole situation, he must be somewhat of a tiny little 'prince' or something.. and that whole thing obviously leads to some issues when the vice captain all of a sudden is just sidelined like that. Because the other defensive players don't know what to expect but are still meant to be represented or go through their vice captain in like a club context, when they discuss stuff.

Chelsea are frighteningly well organised. Bit early, but they're the closest thing I've seen to a challenge for the Invincibles in a fair while.

Arsenal were never more than OK tbh though... Ozil really is trying fucking my patience. I'm Wenger to the grave, but bringing Cazorla and then Wilshere off was a travesty. The game needed The Ox, but Santi and Jack were actually making the odd chance unlike Mr Sulkypants.

I'm the most impressed with Cahill in some ways because he couldn't play football two years ago and now he is Terry just like Ivanovic is :dunce:

Oh shush. You're practically George Graham's Arsenal at this point.

Which isn't a bad thing.

Yeah hats off to Jose tbf, hes turned our team into a unit. I was worried the criticising of Hazard not getting back enough (and pretty much blaming our CL exit on him) and basically having no patience and selling Mata would have a negative effect on us.. Hazard wanting to leave ect. but its turned out pretty well, Oscars performance today was a great example of it.. he was a warrior. A season or two ago I'd never have expected that sort of game from Oscar, a small attacking player, but he defended really well. Every player seems to be helping each other out and while we look really rigid and solid defensively, thanks to Cesc, we're looking really fluid going forward and attack well.. basically everything we missed last season.

Say it every week, however incredible Costa has been Fabregas has been our best player so far this season. His assist today >>>> although the Di Maria backheel would have been better if Falcao didn't hoof it wide.

Big ups Costa on that Torres style shot over the bar

yeah fabregas pass today was a perfect golf shot. Chelsea are pretty much invincible now, i want to bet some money in that they are going to win the league the champions and the fa cup.

It's a better collection of individuals than any of the winning united teams for one.
I say that because I realize how much Ferguson got out of mediocre players.

There's Mancinis City and the invincible Arsenal team with Vieira and Henry, but I think it safe to say that there are no other premier league teams in history, understanding that the game is evolving constantly, that serves as comparison.

I don't appreciate the fact though.

Didn't catch the Arsenal Chelsea game yesterday, but from MOTD2, it looked like a pretty poor ****** affair? Looked like Hazard bossed it and saw next to nothing on the highlights from Ozil?

Juventus Roma was a great game last night though, Gervinho seems to be slotting in quite nicely at Roma these days, still not a prolific goal scorer, but he seems better than he did at Arsenal and generally makes an impact in games, more so than I saw at Arsenal. Love to see them get out of their Champs League group.

EDIT: I said "n i g g l y" btw, that's what is censored
