whoa whoa whoa, why does it matter? you wouldnt want that youtube video audio on your speakers or your ipod, on it's own, it's rubbish. The zomby tune however you do - he gave it context and turned it into a classic tune.

I take stuff from youtube all the time. But I alter it. Sounds like he straight looped that guys patch lol. I think basquiat is him at the piano though. Zomby is like the Phil Hellmuth of Bass Music. Still though, great tunes.

i hear you mate. i still rate the tune but the melody was one of my favorite things about it. he does not deserve the credit for that. its like being lured in under false pretense.

this really is no big deal... some old hardcore tunes are made up PURELY of samples, a break, someone else's piano chords, someone else's bassline and a sampled vocal. doesn't make the tunes any less classic or good, it's the way it's put together.
I like Zomby's 'fuck it, i'm having it' approach to sampling.

It's not the fact that he sampled the video that makes it a bit of a dick move, it's the fact that he didn't ask the person who made it.
I personally don't really care though, but I can understand that that youtube guy is kind of pissed about it.
