5'8"! An lb per week should be doable for you tho

Hahahaha, Word.

I'm positive half is water. I've retained my vascularity and my top abs are still there so I think I'm making the best gains that I possibly could given my height.

Do you think taller people are at a disadvantage when it comes to lifting?

Yeah should be doable, don't really train to get big though. I don't gain too much.

Can't see how taller people really have a disadvantage in lifting to be honest. They are a bit at a disadvantage in calisthenics/gymnastics.
Bodybuilding is said to be a more of a short guys sport so they say. Because a short stocky look looks best. But that's a whole other story.

For bodybuilding they are. 1 lbs of muscle is a whole lot more on a short guy than on a tall guy. Except with me, only being 5'8", being short means that 1 lbs of gains per week are gonna be more heavy on the fat than most guys, hence my GOAL to add half an lb per week.

But there's other factors. There's genetic freaks who are tall who can pack on a ton of muscle

What about strength? You've got two guys with the same genetics but one is 6'5 and the other is 5'5. You'd think a guy with shorter tendons would be able to bench more than a guy who has longer leavers and has to push/pull a further distance.

Nah, the taller guy will generally be stronger. More muscle with more resistance from bodyweight.

The dumbells on at my gym only increase with 4 lb increments. Kind of hard to make gains on that sometimes since with 5x5 I keep reps low. Anyone attached a 2 lb plate using wrists straps to the dumbells?

Or mehh, I could just try 5 x 6 on the same weight and then move on.

Oh ya m8s. I made these brownies yesterday. They're the tits! I added some almond shavings and used 2 large finely blended apples instead of babyfood for it.

I cut it in 8 parts making the macros, a piece..

114 calories
10 grams of protein
14 grams of carbs (most of it coming from the oatflour and apples)
2 grams of fat

Tastes really fucking good. Not 100% like real brownies but the raw falvor and texture is there. I'll try to get it closer. Will probs use whole eggs next time.

being short and hench looks stoopid as fuck tho imo

the only time people look good and hench (bodybuilder/steroid hench) is when they're like 6 foot +

Yeah I like having mass, but I hate that 'short and super buff look'. Makes you look like gravity is doing overtime squassssshing you to the ground and really weirdly proportioned. I prefer just being ripped

No idea, sorry. I don't count any protein/carb/calories etc. I just eat clean. --> I also never bulk or cut since i don't really train to get big.

Another decent meal, (high in fat) is Greek/Turkish yogurt (buy that shit in bulk at Lidl), with (raw) almond butter, honey and banana slices. Hotdamn u guysssss

Sometimes when I don't feel like making dinner and still got cals left I take half a kilo of that yoghurt, add way too much of that other stuff and go to town on it.

THE INHUMANITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Naw, I could figure it out myself easily. I'm just lazy.

I'd probably replace the sweet potatoes with something else though. I eat them every other day if not daily, can't have everything have that flavor :p

Recently decided I've had enough of being an overweight piece of shit and I've been eating a lot healthier, counting calories and all that. Doing 30 mins a day on an exercise bike too. I've got a set of dumbbells, can anyone reccomend any good exercises that involve them?

I'm assuming you don't have a bench at your disposal here btw.

But if I were you, I'd get a gym membership. But these are decent exercises in the meantime.
