Artist: Kemek
Title: Sine Language
Cat # Muti062
UPC # 705105140308
File Under: Dubstep / Electronica
Tracklisting:
1. Sine Language 4:46
2. Road To Somewhere (Kemek Remix) 4:47
3. Ignorant Dub 4:10
4. Vitamin Drumming 5:30

We’re very happy at Muti Music to re-introduce an artist who was our debut release back in 2002 and went on to become quite a name in Breakbeat, releasing on Bedrock Breaks, Air Dog, Sponge Recordings amongst others and also remixing ‘My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult’ for release on Red Ant & Studio !K7.
Kemek has since dropped ‘The Dope Computer’ part of his name and re-surfaced from stays in Japan (with a few gigs alongside the likes of Hyper) and ongoing battles with tinnitus. Now his musical journey continues with a deconstructionist look at Dubstep on the appropriately named EP ‘Sine Language’.
It is evident on the EP that Kemek has maintained his sensibility for urban music and strong roots dating back to classic rave music of the nineties, when he composed for Silent Recordings as 303 Terrorist. His evolution as a producer is evident as he allows space for sounds and grooves to evolve from simple beginnings and the results are very effective.

DCR All-Stars Volume 2 features seven finely crafted Dubstep tunes from a diverse lineup of producers, weighty, melodic, with satisfying bass all over the place. These face melters attract with eerie synths, undulating liquid bass and heavy metal distortions, stabbing drums and wild raucous basslines. These are boss and authoritative rhythms, classic Hip Hop influenced with creative House wobbles and sunshine crunked out sub bass love. Find hilarious samples, dance inducing octaves, bleeps and original styles. Featuring Korea, Symbl, Rumblejunkie, Ale Fillman, hd4000, Cheebs and Grizzy Tha Slumlord.

One Inch Punch STK - 011
is a 10-track EP showcasing various artists.
It is available to download from 31/05/10.

Track 1 Reixtra - Yobanashi.
influences from calypso, dubstep and reggae.

Track 2 Jak A Tron - Get Murked.
Holds true to Jack A Tron’s influences as he leans towards the heavier two step side of dubstep.

Track 3 Defazed - Taking Control.
Deep, soul churning stuff the thumping beats dwell long after this track is finished.

Track 4 Gully Floss - Unorthodox.
Breaking boundaries and injecting aggressive snarling beats

Track 5 Caski ft Sanna Hartfield - Rock Em.
Does not just highlight Caski’s ability and desire to work with other artists,
but shows that there is much more than just overall style.

Track 6 SAFWA - Don't go to sleep.
The devil is in the detail.

Track 7 NDE - Another kind of world.
Through the ears and eyes of music while being subdued by aggressive, intense beats
this track allows a dream to be realised.

Track 8 Esion - Come on strong.
The word filthy does not do this song justice,
it rips through the blinds and constraints of regular bass and breaks.

Track 9 Bassrael - Rewind Bitch.
German Dubstep is on the rise

Track 10 Lushman - If I make it.
His productions encompass elements of dub, garage and techno
to create a fresh and unique sound.

Available from Beatport and all the major download sites.

After years of hit singles and remixes, San Francisco’s J.Rogers finally drops his debut LP. Fans know this artist for his unique sound that constantly walks the line between dubstep and techno, and this record fully cements J.Rogers as one of the dubstep/techno movement’s forefront leaders. The sound here is deep and dark, and full of rhythmic variety and sophistication. The artist pulls no punches with “filler” material or intro/outro ambient pieces either; this LP represents ten full-length tracks of dancefloor thumpers that work equally well at home on the headphones. The LP also features a number of quality collaborative tracks with SF-dubstep heavyweight Antiserum, Swiss-techno maestro Leon, virtuoso bassist Kevin Wall, as well as Bay Area up-and-comers ROZANSKI and Kenneth Scott. Dubstep/Techno biz indeed.

KeOSz
Beyond Recall / Fall Of Infidel
--------------------------------
Slovak producer KeOSz presents his first individual release on Owntempo Recordings. Significantly darker release than our usual production shows hypnotic heavy tracks influenced by atmosphere of Middle East tales or even dark fantasy battles. Like flying thought the streets of ruined future Baghdad in your hover car. Beyond Recall is more meditative, while Fall Of Infidel is an epic battle soundtrack.

Owntempo Recordings is a Czech Republic based dubstep/grime label focused on releasing interesting material from
Czech and Slovak producers. We believe that dubstep should still keep its experimental side therefore we try to
fuse it with techno, hip hop and experimental electronic music.

Ecoform - Init [rootplex form#09]

Image

Tracklist:
1/Addiction
2/Unequal
3/Init
4/Ekstra

Past present and future. It only takes this much to perfectly describe the new item in the rootplex catalog. Four pieces of angular, futurist dubs signed by ecoform, with roots reaching back into decades of electronic dance music and with a foot firmly planted in the present. But above all these pieces focus on the not yet taken steps, the evolution, the stylistic mutation – the far future.
Intro track "addiction" introduces a deep rolling groove with lush, reverberating vocals, mellow sci-fi chords and detailed sound-design. A track heavily rooted in the past with a strong garage feel in the swung beats and detroit-like chord progressions. Yet still bravely looking ahead through hi-tech eyeglasses.
"Unequal" on the other hand is all about the unknown, the exploration and fiction. With swinging yet abstract percussion patterns, bending metallic synth lines, mysterious melodies stock in deep space, and a delicate and restrained drum track pulsing away like a long lost space probe.
Title track "Init" extends this futurist tecnoid feeling with swelling metalized synth textures, boombastic low-end and strange binary melodies floating downwards like digital debris. Was it not for the strangely familiar rhythm construct, it would all sound like an alien cross of an 8bit console android and an advanced bionic creature from a utopian future jazzing out.
Last track "ekstra" pulls back into the present (almost), with skipping and shuffling beats, delicious dub chords, and a hypnotic bass groove. Yet somehow the weirdness from the above-mentioned pieces still echo and ricochet throughout the track, as if the silhouettes of cyborgs and androids are still jackin to the future beat.
