Coriolanus

The film itself was quite alright. And brilliantly acted by Fiennes as well I must say, but unfortunately I just couldn't fully get into it because of the Shakespearian dialogue.

Fiennes bossed that film ^ But yeah, overall, not the best Shakespearian film i've seen.

Olivier's Hamlet is probably the best i've seen but I do have a soft spot for Branagh's version.

Gosling is getting typecast a lot in the same role lately, but it works well.
Drive, The Place Beyond the Pines, and seems like it for Only God Forgives (which I'm looking forward to).
I absolutely loved Drive and The Place Beyond the Pines.
Half Nelson with him is a really good flick which has some damn good range and acting, same with The Believer.
Checking out Refn's other films I haven't seen yet.

Brick

Absolutely brilliant, like playing LA Noire but in a high school. Good idea, really well executed.

Ironman 3 was a good comedy wrecked by too many action scenes, fireworks & models being destroyed.

Shia LeBeouf & Tom Hardy as 1930s bootleggers. Pretty decent and entertaining, not amazing though. Nicely shot, good support from Gary Oldman and Guy Pearce, pretty fucking violent in places...shootings, throat slitting, heads smashed in with various things, rape, castration and a fucking dark graphic depiction of tarring & feathering.

Puss In Boots

Nothing particularly deep or groundbreaking, but enjoyable with plenty of jokes.

I really enjoyed this. I'd never seen/read Coriolanus before and didn't find the language terrible, but I watched it with my housemate and spent half the movie pausing it so I could translate what was going on.

Amazing, but, fuck me... one of the most bleak and depressing films I've ever watched. Move over Shane Meadows... Paddy Considine is finna beat you at this suicidal surburban decay shit. Olivia Colman is superb in this.

Ahhh seen this 3-4 times in the past year or so, superb film. Pick up different bits each time I watch it as well. Unreal for his debut

+Considine/Meadows team is where its at: Dead Man's Shoes

I don't care how many roles he gets given, I will never be able to take LeBeef seriously as a proper actor
