sick tune man, the bass tone in this awesome, sounds like a saw tooth wave, or a sample distorted and crushed layered with some bass maybe, might be a synth also from a program like massive or something, gonna check out the other songs

Sample delay

(just a very short delay 1ms-50ms, play around with it)

I would like to know how to make the bass sound at 00:27, not the wobble though, the other sound. Big up

Hai there

i think it might have been asked before, but i didn't find anything, though a lot of the youtub links arent avaiable anymore
but i've been trying to recreate this kind of sound:

Bass wobble line starting around 1:10

the wobble isn't the problem..it's more the modification of the sound

Thanks.

It seems easy but i cant seem to get it just right, so i was wondering if anyone can figure out how to make the high pitch sound that comes at the 1 minute mark

why use arp when you can emulate arp in the piano roll? :D

Just make a sound similar to square and saw, but softer than them and then make make that play the "arp" that you want
...in my opinion

Another post by me in this thread ;D
Recently, I noticed a lot of deeper/darker dubstep producers using some sort of alien/weird/idon'tknowhowtoexplainitandthereforeididn'tgetanyresultswhenitriedsearchingtheforums sound.
I first encountered this particular sound on the X side of OSMUK011, song's called Foreseen by LX ONE & Freeze.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ex3hMeyNBUc
My youtube is acting like a fucktard right now, so I can't time the URL at the moment, but by simply playing my vinyl and holding a clock next to it, I assume it's on 0:56.
I'm not talking about the regular low subbass, but about the things in between.
So, here's a second song which features similar techniques:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wMAcpPik ... re=related
This awesome sound which is basically the main bassline is just intense!
It makes me scream and forget everything, so when I was searching this video I forgot about making this post. (I started making it at 16:45, it's 17:40 now, nvm)
I can't really think of a lot more examples, as I don't really know that much awesome artists, but I hope you know which sound I mean.
Thx in advance for helping me :D

Actually, you are the one who made me fall in love with similar sounds.
I wasn't thát much into this particular sub-genre of dubstep until you showed up on GetDarker and changed my views on dubstep in general.
Big up!

Can anyone explain how i might be able to make a similar sound to that in J:Kenzo's 'Ruff House'?

Im looking for the sound straight after the drop at 53, kind of a progressive drawn out filter sound. Ive been told it may be a saw with a pitched envelop over a sine, but any more details would be really helpful. Maybe on how to get the sound more interesting and slightly bigger, what effects etc.

And also the sound used by Vivek in his track 'Roots',

again it comes in straight after the drop, sounds like maybe another filter. The one that sound asif its drawing upwards, if that makes sense.

Thanks in advance
