If you mean the Haneke one then yeah, it's good stuff. If you liked it check out The White Ribbon by him too.

Yeah, I really enjoyed Cache, the ending in particular. It's very similar to the start of Lost Highway, wouldn't be surprised if Haneke took influence from it.

Jack Reacher
Was apprehensive about watching this as a massive fan of the books and wasn't expecting Tom Cruise to fit the role at all, but it was actually pretty decent. Fight scenes were pretty well balanced, felt the car chase was unnecessary and tacked on, ending also wasn't as tense as the book but if you hadn't read any of the books this is worth a watch. Werner Herzog was a fantastic choice for The Zec

Haha I think his best role as an actor was in Julien Donkey Boy playing the dad addicted to DXM.
'Give me some Everest.'

pile of poo imo.
Worst book out the lot too.
Instead of having a big powerful deep thinking man who is reading every situation and keeps time in his head etc, we get some nutty angry dwarf with nothing going on behind the eyes.

I'd say second worst...the reveal at the end of The Visitor is just fucking retarded. Hypnotism via the phone, really?
Wouldn't mind them doing Echo Burning or 61 Hours.

Jeffery Dean Morgan seems too small.
yes to Ray Stevenson
His role in Rome is one of my fave characters in TV.

He can do 'big guy' roles though, like The Comedian in Watchmen.

Thought it was alright. easy to watch with some nice fx (not seen the animated series so had nothing to compare to)
that and wreck-it-ralph...which for a modern computer animated kids film, was surprisingly good.
inability to watch anything too 'serious' at the moment.

His character in Dexter was by far the best in that show.

that's a good film. I tried to watch it with my housemates but they weren't into it. All about sitting in the dark on your own watching the doctor/daughter scene when someone walks in

I noticed this was on too, not something I'd have expected ITV to show especially that early. Sure you had some people tuning in half way through wondering what the fuck was going on. And the people who watched it from the beginning. Didn't watch it this time, I'll leave it some time before I try watching it again. I think there might be greatness there but fuck me if it isn't an impenetrable 4 hour slog.

That movie is a difficult journey but it's worth it.
One of the only times my body has physically jerked from fright is from that movie, the famous Laura Dern slow motion walk/face scene. Lynch is great at that, using tense sounds and weird filming techniques on faces to frighten. Quite a few of those moments in Twin Peaks as well. One of the other times I leaped out of my seat was the last scene of Twin Peaks - May the Giant Be With You. It still gives me chills.

I've watched the whole thing before a few months back. It has elements I like but I'd put it behind the other Lynch ones I've seen - Mulholland Dr., Blue Velvet and Elephant Man.
