the last PM who actually did anything decent was gordon brown but everyone slated the poor fella, cos he was left with a ridiculous economic mess to deal with; which was caused by the fucking conservatives in the first place

This, i think parties should stay in power for longer than 4 years cos i don't see how they would be able to fix anything in such a short time, then people complain they havn't done anything and get voted out and the new party changes loadsa shit that might have worked given more time.

People don't vote for that very reason, the election process is undemocratic in itself hence this coalition by default chosen by themselves but imagine a country with this shower of cunts calling the shots for another 5 years.

he's right. the thatcher/reagan era is what started it all. this is the only picture you need to see to know. I'm sure you will recognize that the 1%'s income peaked right before the great depression and great recession, but also notice that reagan took power in 1980, right when the 1%'s share of the income started shooting up wildly. I don't know as much about the british economy, but thatcher took power in 1979, and she was widely compared to ronald reagan, so it wouldn't surprise me if the same thing happened there.

Lol, this is exactly what I'm on about though. Fuck these sorts of debates (on a personal level that is, feel free to carry on amongst yourselves  ) because both parties tend to just attribute the same bad shit to other people's parties and the same good shit to their own.

Tories really are the worst of the lot though, they're secret agenda of divide and rule is working well. Big ups to Rupert Murdoch's media network for supporting this campaign.

If it wasn't for labour we'd be working 60 hour weeks with no minimum wage or holiday's. Whilst I find them all as equally as useless, you have to respect labour for at least trying to fight the corner of the working man/woman.
