ugh, but that was the charm about it. ff4 is one of the best games of all times and its graphics are next to non-existant.

but this is 2013, this is gta. the world, and how it looks play a massive part of the game.

I think it looks good, your opinion of the graphics doesn't really affect the quality of gameplay for me.

The most difficult aspects of solving or just playing computer games (which ought to be the most gratifying part of it,) is still getting stuck in some staircase or having to go up a ladder -which is ridiculously unreasonable.

This isn't about some universal truth. I basically agree with wolf that the framerate doesn't make a difference to the enjoyment of a game... though I've stopped playing games more than 5 years ago. Just couldn't be bothered. My favs are still kind of grungy looking.

But if you've heavily invested in games, and in quality and if you want the whole package, I can see why you'd want to get the full experience out of the game. It's not that it not being perfect is 'bad', but if you're heavily invested in games that way you start to develop an eye for it and you'd rather just get the whole experience because anything less than that, seems to do a disservice to the experience. Basically, a lot like the way that wolf listens to vinyl.

My point was that Nevalo's enjoyment of video games is analogous to the way wolf enjoys music. And neither of them is right or wrong in how they do it. That wolf doesn't have the same standards for games as he does for music is no reflection of wolf's superior way of dealing with entertainment, it comes from having different fucking standards.

I'm completely dumbfounded by how hard of a concept 'theory of mind' is for other people sometimes. "DURRDURDURRRR I DON'T SEE IS, SO IT'S BULLSHIT. PPL THAT DO ARE WRONG I'M RIGHT" Ugh. People worry wayyyy too much about how other people do stuff differently from them.

When dubstep djs decide to play jungle it's usually shite. Jungle is boring unless you really know your shit with it.

dubstep classic sets are pretty much just like going to some shit club where they play chart music. It's just wanting to hear something they know while getting drunk. If you're having to rely on midnight request line and anti war dub you're a fucking shit dj. Play something interesting, I can listen to a bunch of popular 2005 tunes at home.

Exactly! Part of what made Blawan interesting in the first place wasn't just his unique percussion sound/sample selection (which arguably he still has to an extent) but he was one of the few people about who wasn't afraid to make some mad shuffled rhythm, man actually put groove into his tunes. Fram/Iddy/Bohla EP: this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8yjGO6_eICY etc.

Everytime i've seen him since its been unrelenting 4x4
