There should be a 2nd 'help me make this sound' thread for 'dungeon' only.
I can't stand the fact that the masses just ask questions that could have been answered by searching and therefore the questions of people who really tried their fucking best remain unanswered.

I started one a few days back , but deleted it after a mod made a pretty good point. He pointed out that the deeper side of things is already starting to become saturated and a thread like that certainly wont help. There are some sounds i would love to learn how to make though -q-

The sound I'm interested in is mainly that lead synth, I've become obsessed with that sound. I'm sure it's simple enough but I still haven't worked my whole way around massive yet. Could someone give me a quick rundown? I'd appreciate it.

And if anyone knows the secret to that sick main bass, feel free to jump in too ;)

Thanks!

Really obvious one this, a pad sound I've heard a million times in different genres but cannot replicate.

Comes in at 0:45;

I'm guessing some white noise? Multiple voices? What sound wave would it be?

Thanks in advance

sounds like low-pass filtered white noise, layered on a pad (which prob doesnt matter). try sylenth or vanguard or something along those lines... then automate a gradual filtersweep DOWN.

Cant quite figure this one out.

Cluekid- Hovercraft: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJHPcAZQRrw

Similar to the one in Haunted by Digital Mystikz. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVEwXH-- ... re=related

How do you make it sound so hollow and ghastly?

I'm not sure, but it sounds a lot like a pure reverb effect with no dry signal.

I've been trying to get some "bubbly" bass sounds for ages.
prime example would be Requake's Waterdrops:

I've asked this before and all I got back was "turn up the resonance" which is close but still not what I'm trying to achieve.
You can find the sound I'm meaning at 1:22 in the track.

Big thanks in advance!
