And for those wondering, I'm a liverpool fan because my dad is. He went over to engerland in the 80s and became a fan. If anyone, he's the glory hunter imo.

as long as you stick with your choice, and support them thru thick and thin, anyone can support anyone imo.

out to all the lower league supporters who live and breathe their football club tho, that's commitment

You get a free pass to support whoever you want imo. It's like me picking an american football team to follow, I have no bias so I'll pick one with a cool name or summet.

really? Because I live near Bruges and support Anderlecht (probably both unknown to most) they're quite the rivals and I keep hearing that I support for succes,, why support a team so far away,, and couch supporter & more of this whiny stuff, quite funny

It doesn't hurt that Sacha has such an awe inspiring mustache

Yeah but over here if you get asked who your favorite team is and you say Real/Barca/United/Bayern it's pretty much a dead give away you don't actually follow the sport and are just reciting names you saw on SportsCenter

how big is bayern munich in america. real, barca and man u are obviously massive and id imagine most americans into sports would know about them but i cant imagine bayern being as famous despite probably being the best team in the world

They're huge with the high school kids who play soccer but don't watch it and want to name a team that the usual American sports fan wouldn't recognize

Completely agree. I've always found the idea of being ascribed a sports team by birth kind of ridiculous.

On a separate note, I've just woke up after having a dream that I was Toni Kroos at a petrol station filling up my car before Mos Def turned up and decided to hold everyone hostage. I crawled off into the bushes while he wasn't looking but he noticed and started screaming "KROOOOOOOS" before leaving all the other hostages to pursue me with a gun. I ran off into what seemed to be a construction site for a new stadium that was a dead end due to all the high fences etc. In the end I decided to crawl under some scaffolding where I could hear him doing the old 'bad guy explains his plans and motives' routine and apparently he was deeply unhappy about how fifa was being managed or some shit like that. Thats pretty much all I can remember but its a shame I wasn't Pepe in the dream otherwise I would have fucked him up.

lol
im sure 99% of people i know either support the same team as their family or support their most local team (or united tbh).
the idea of just picking a team that you like the look of is more ridiculous imo. i watch a lot of serie a and bundesliga, but i'd never think of just picking a random team over there to support as well

Swansea just had an off night. Liverpool are terrible this season. No way you'll make top 4.

swansea seem to have an "off night" everytime they play Liverpool. Also, the attack during the christmas break has been far better than the rest of the year.. LFC banging in 3-4 goals a game without the leagues two best strikers from last year.
